In this Day , the elective participatory methodology will be used. The elective participatory approach is highly participatory and assumes all participants are resource persons who bring their knowledge, experience and skills to bear in the day and group learning process. The focus is on collaboration and learning together while developing idea(s) into concrete plans, tapping into the groups’ collective wisdom and experience to shape and sharpen the plans.

Through this Day participants gained:

 The networking of civil society with service providers (duty bearers) in Karandeniya aimed at promoting sustainable community development that is community-based.

 This CSOs functions, networking and coalition status in Karandeniya, particularly in target sectors. The study applied qualitative methods such as key awareness, focus group discussions, and sharing responsibilities and information’s.

 Therefore, networking and sharing is a base foundation for creating a healthy environment for individual to form a coalition with other stakeholders in social services delivery to the communities they serve. This is enabled through creativity and addressing critical issues within the society. Thence, such creativity expand their capacity to respond to people’s demands with effectiveness. In promoting a healthy networking rather than competition or supremacy, it is suggested that all CSOs
operating in an area should be network with local government authorities specially Karandeniya DS office, and should have frequent meetings per year organized by LGAs as their hosts.

 Senior government officers of the Karandeniya DS office commit to furthering promotion of information sharing and service access through networking

 Child Protection, Women development, foreign employment, Economic development and Samadhi, Social and welfare , development officials expressed their commitment to furthering the promotion of their service whole team shared all information and responsibilities relevant to their service.

 The Awareness enhanced the capacity of school community , to integrate education and life formation in their daily responsibilities

 School principle declared the day , saying that building the capacity of school community and public servants is crucial for the sustainable development , and expressed his appreciation for the technical support provided by the SESATHA and Funding partner in this regard.
