The Capacity building training is one of the essential activities planned in the implementation of SESATHA / Helvetia’s CBY program. The main objective of the Capacity building training is to enhance facilitation and solidify service skills to Selected Duty bearer’s team who providing services at community level and to assist the faculty to comply with the donor specifications in the CBY project.
The long term expected result of this training is enhanced civil servant Commitment Capacity and Participation in sustainable development efforts in public private and charitable partnership process.
During the workshop, 63 Civil Servant especially divisional level responsible officials in major focus areas from both target division were trained on Civil Servant responsibilities in the current context and demand of PPP. The training consisted of topics such as Civil servant Vs. community, why Civil Service, qualities of a good Civil Servant, professional
ethics, social harassment, Civil servant as a role model and expected deliverables from the Sustainable Development Goals and plans.
At the beginning of the workshop, each participant was given a Critical opportunity targeting responsibilities of Personal Job and Social evaluation. This was crucial and time of Paradigm shift It was recommended that these guidelines are read so as to enable the faculty to have a deeper understanding of the Service and also to use them as tools to support their work of sustainable development.
