As a solution to the shortage of the blood bank at the Elpitiya Base Hospital, the SESATHA organization conducted a blood donation program on March 22, 2023 at Uragasmanhandiya Sri Bodhimalwa Temple. One collection was done with the participation of only 80 donors throughout the day and blood samples were taken from the qualified donors as per the requirement of the hospital. A program was also held to give a plant as a commemoration to the donors who donated blood on this day. The doctors and staff of Elpitiya Hospital, the staff of Sesatha organization, the members and the officials contributed a lot to make these tasks successful.
This task was successfully completed due to the dedication of the officers of the Sesatha Association and the participation of the officials and members of the cluster associations related to the Sesatha Association.
